Gui gui constantly knocks on aaron’s Door she sets up her sweetest smile as he open the door.

Bang!

Aaron instantly slams the door in her face when he saw her. He panic; how do you expect
him to react? The girl that causes his sleepless night was standing in front of his door. He
still had no idea how to move in front of her and the last thing he need right now is to see
her smiling face so early in the morning. He heard banging on his door.

“Aaron Yan, open this door!” she angrily shouts.

Aaron took a deep breath and opens the door.

“Hey gui!” he greet with a smile.

Gui gui gave him a sharp glare. He moves close to him and pinch his cheeks.

“How dare you slam the door at me?” she said as she squeezes his cheeks tightly. She
never let go of him until she saw a tiny teardrop forming in his eyes. His face was all red when she releases it.

“That’s enough punishment… so don’t you dare do that again” Gui gui warn.

Aaron was rubbing his cheeks. It was painful but still he can’t help but smile.

“Sorry” he murmured.

“You should be! You’re the one who ask for my help and this what I get in return?
Slamming the door in my face? How generous of you” Gui gui said in a sarcastic tone.

“Sorry I’m just ain’t feeling so well. I think we should go out some other time.” Aaron reason out.

“Eh? You’re sick?” she moves closer to her to check his temperature.

He almost instantly moves away from her.

“I think I catch cold last night. Is it Ok if I take this day to rest?”

Gui gui stares at him with concern. He looks so pale and dark circles covering his eyes he
still looks cute though. She sighs.

“You sure you’ll be ok?”

Aaron lets out a smile.

“Yup don’t worry. I’ll just take my medicine and sleep.”

“Do you want me to stay with you?” Gui gui ask.

“No!” he instantly replies.

Gui gui look at him with doubt.

“I mean I could take care of myself and beside you might get infected.”

Aaron was hoping she won’t get to see through his lie. He still needs to think; having her
around keep giving him unexplained feeling.

“Ok take care of your self” she hesitantly said as she bid him goodbye.

Aaron gave him an assuring smile.

“Gui!” Xiao jie called out; as she notices her spacing out.

Gui gui lets out a sigh.

“I think I made a wrong decision leaving him all alone.” She murmurs.

“Huh?”

Gui gui look at her. All day long all she could think about is Aaron.

“I need to go. Aaron said he’s not feeling well so I want to check on him.” Gui gui stand up and grab her bag.

“Gui gui wait!”

Gui gui looks at Xiao jie.

“What?”

Xiao jie didn’t bother to answer her. She just points at the door of the restaurant. Gui gui
turned to see who it was. Her hands start to shiver and eyes start to fill with tears. She
could feel her throat get hurt for suppressing the tears.

“Gui gui are you ok?” Xiao jie ask in full concern.

Gui gui release a bitter smile.

“Of course, why won’t I be? It’s not like the first time he ever did this” Gui gui said as
she shot a deadly glare at the couple sitting few tables away from her.

“Stupid Aaron Yan!”

They went to their next stop…

“The Park?” Aaron exclaimed.

“What’s wrong with a park?” Gui gui ask.

“Um… nothing, it’s just…um… you know…” Aaron kept thinking of the right word to say.

“Old fashioned?” Gui gui supplied.

“Right! And who would go on a date to a place like this…” he looks around and saw many couples.

Aaron suddenly felt silent. Gui gui lets out a grin.

“You’re saying something?” She teases.

“A park is still a great place for a date… it’s convenient and most of all free. And besides
how many times do I need to tell you it’s not the place it’s the person you’re with that
makes the difference.” Gui gui explained.

Aaron stares at her. He could feel his heart beating fast. She’s always been special for
him but this is the first time he actually pays attention to her… as a girl and he’s afraid of what he’s seeing.

“Gui…” Aaron called.

“Hmmm”

“When was the last time you ever been to a date?” Aaron ask out of the blue.

Gui gui was caught off guard. She swallowed hard.

“L – Last week”

Aaron looks at her unbelieving. He knew she was lying.

“Last week?”

“Ok fine! It’s been months now.” Gui gui pouts. She really can’t stand his eyes as if it has
the power for her not to lie.

Aaron smile but not a teasing smile, a smile out of relief. He feels so happy he didn’t know why.

“But I currently like someone… he’s also from our school.” Gui gui admitted.

Aaron could feel all his happiness vanish into thin air. Pain lowly occupies his heart.

“Who is he?” Aaron said in a cold tone.

“Wei, what’s with the look? I know you treat me like your sister but don’t you dare ruin
my chance at love. I swear you’ll be dead.” Gui gui warns after seeing his protective look.

Aaron’s POV: “Sister? Yeah right. I always say that she’s like a sister to me but it’s so
painful to think of her with another man.”

“I want to meet him. I want to be sure he won’t hurt you. What if that guy is a good for
nothing Playboy that uses his charm to get what he wants. He might even break your
heart.” Aaron insisted.

Gui gui gave him a ‘Aren’t you talking about yourself’ look.

“Of course his decent his not you for one; his cute, smart and sweet.”

Gui gui’s words causes more and more pain.

“I just hope he finally notice me…” Gui gui murmured.

“You mean, he doesn’t know you exist?” Aaron said with a teasing smile. Some what the pain got lessen.

“None of your business.” Gui gui pouts and turn her back on him.

“Come of best it’s OK” Aaron said while comforting her.

Gui gui gave him a glare.

“Say another word and your dead.” Gui gui warn.

Aaron suppresses his laughter. He places his arms around her neck. Gui gui look up to him in irritation.

“Ouch!”

Gui gui bite his arms. He could even see red marks around it. He looks at her with puppy
eyes. Gui gui just glare at him and stick out her tongue. Aaron shook his head and lets out a smile.

“You’ll pay for this.” He then ran after her.

They keep running around in circles like kids.

“Wait!” Gui gui shouts.

“Caught you” Aaron arms are now around her waist. He then felt it again. His heart beats
fast by staring at her face.

Gui gui stares at him. Her smile slowly fades. She move’s closer to him. Their face was
just inches away from each other. Aaron’s heartbeat doubles. Sweat starts forming in his
forehead. He felt to tense anticipating a kiss. He was about to close his eyes when he
heard her giggle.

“You look so funny! You’re so scared!” Gui gui said in between laugh.

Aaron could feel his face turned red. He laughs to cover up his embarrassment. He is so
ashamed of himself; he actually disappointed that the kiss didn’t push through.

Aaron’s POV: “Aaron, Aaron wake up man! Are you that obsess with women? That’s
Gui gui for crying out loud. How could you… how could you… God, am I in love with her?”

“That’s ridiculous!” he exclaimed.

Gui gui stared at him with a questioning look then laugh.

“You’re right! Just by thinking about it gives me the creep.” Gui gui said while smiling.

“Is kissing me that horrible?” Aaron asks.

“I’d rather die.” Gui gui said then laugh.

Lesson 1: Dating 101

“Wake up lazy head” Gui gui called out as she jumps into Aaron’s bed.

“Gui gui, it’s still 7 in the morning could you at least give me another hour to sleep?”
Aaron begs as he buried his head into the pillow. He slept late last night all he wants is to sleep.

Gui gui pouts and pull his blanket.

“Rise and shine! Get up we still has many things to do.” She insisted.

He lazily raises his head and look at her. He doesn’t remember going some where with
her especially this early in the morning.

“We would start your lesson today! So get up as I prepare breakfast.” Gui gui said before she leaves his room.

Aaron still look all confuse. He still can’t process properly what Gui gui just said. He gets
up of his bed and went to the toilet. He knew her too well if he’s weren’t down in 30
minutes she’ll be right back banging his door. He lets out a smile while imagining Gui gui’s fierce look.

“So what’s our first lesson?” Aaron asked as he walks into the kitchen. He gets a glass of
hot milk and sat on a chair. Gui gui serve fried rice with eggs and bacon then sat at the
chair in front of him. She looks at him in the eyes.

“Dating!” she answered.

“Dating? Are you serious?” Aaron mocked. Come on, he’s Aaron Yan what does he
doesn’t know about Dating? He’s an expert in the field.

“You heard me right… I will teach you about dating.” She stops for a moment.

“In order for a playboy like you to have a serious relationship, you should first learn how to understand us girls.”

“But I do understand you” Aaron said.

“We’re not talking about me it’s about how you deal with women.”

“Hey! I treat my girl properly” Aaron insisted.

“Yeah right I remember… before you get tired of them and decide to break their hearts!”
Gui gui argue.

Aaron just nods as he chews his food.

“Your cooking is getting better.” He commented.

Gui gui gave him a sharp stare.

“That’s the first thing you should learn”

“What?” he react.

“You should learn to listen. Listening to girls as they speak would help you get to know them better.” She explains.

Aaron laughs. He’s just not use to her like this.

“I know how to listen.”

Gui gui just rolled her eyes

“Why are we here? Didn’t you say you’ll teach me about dating?” Aaron said as he looks around.

“Of course, that’s why were here” Gui gui said with a smile.

“Gui, were in a music store. If you want me to buy you CDs all you have to do is ask.” He said while placing his arms in her shoulder.

Gui gui pats his hand, looks at him and smile.

“We are not here to play. But that doesn’t sound like a bad idea.” She then moves towards a rack.

“Which one do you prefer?” she said while holding 2 disks.

Aaron shook his head and move closer to her.

“The dating purpose is to get to know the other person and what better way to do it that
doing the things you both like.” Gui gui explains.

Gui gui puts on a headset. A smile formed her lips. She removes the headset and places it to Aaron.

“Nice” Aaron commented with a smile.

He twists the side of the earpiece so they could listen at the same time. They move to the
music, commented on every song they hear and sometimes sing along. They basically
have fun. Both of them were laughing while paying at the register.

“So where is our next stop?” Aaron asked.

It is still 12 noon they still have a lot of time.

“You’ll find out” she said with a smile.

Change of Heart-

“What did you just say?” Gui gui ask Aaron. She looks at him unbelieving. She might have misheard what he just said.

“I said I want to have a serious relationship.” Aaron said in a serious tone.

Gui gui’s eyes widens. She moves closer to him to check his temperature. He might be
sick or something to say something like that… the normal Aaron would NEVER thought of that idea.

“Gui gui be serious!” Aaron removes her hand from his forehead. Gui gui begins to laugh.

“Aaron Yan? The ultimate playboy? Wants to have a serious relationship? You’re
kidding right?” she laughs louder. Aaron suddenly went silent. Gui gui stares at him and stops laughing.

“Oh my God! You are SERIOUS!”

“Obviously!” Aaron sighs. He can’t blame her; he never have a serious relationship his
longest one lasted only for a week.

“Why?!”

Aaron gave her a confuse look.

“Well… it’s not that I don’t want you to stop you’re playboy antics but…”

“My dad wants me to. He said that if I don’t find somebody soon he’ll set me up with someone.”

“And since when did you listen to your dad?” Gui gui asked jokingly.

Aaron smiled at her. She’s right, he never listen to his dad. Actually the don’t agree on
anything maybe because they have the same attitude… they basically can’t stand each other’s guts.

“Ok let’s just say I want to give it a try… I’m getting tired of hearing the same things over and over.”

“Try? This is not some kind of a game! And beside I don’t think you are capable of
having one.” Gui gui honestly commented.

“Ouch!” Aaron act hurt. He smiled sweetly and places his arms around her.

“That’s why I need your help.”

Gui gui looks at him with confusion. She had an idea on what their getting into and she
didn’t like the sound of that.

“You would help me focus on this relationship.” Aaron said with a confident smile.

“Wo?!” she points to her self. She knew he only means trouble…

“Yes you! Who else would help me but my cute and reliable best friend” he move closer
to her and hugged her tightly.

Gui gui stared at his eyes. She seems to be loss with them. He really does have such
expressive eyes. Light seems to glitter in them. She is starting to feel tense.

Gui gui’s POV: “Gui gui what’s happening to you? His just Aaron… your best friend, remember?”

She smiled at him and pushes him away.

“You’re asking for the impossible… How would I do that?”

“Help me find the right girl; A girl that could understand me. Someone I could get along
with” Aaron quickly said as if he’s asking the simplest thing in the world.

She stares at him with doubt.

“Finding a girl is easy… making you” she points at him.

“Stick with her… now that’s the problem.”

Aaron again places his arms on Gui gui’s shoulder.

“Then teach me how… Please best, I know you can do it I have faith in you. Please!”
He puts on a pitiful face. He’s so cute it should not be legal. Gui gui knew she had no
choice but to say yes. First, he won’t take no for an answer; he’ll just bug her all day.
And second she really wants him to learn how to commit. She wants him to know how it
feels to be in love…

She lets out a sigh. Aaron lets out a wide smile.

“I can’t believe I’m doing this” she said as she rolled her eyes.

“Yes!” he jumps for joy.

“Thanks best” he said as he kiss her cheek.

The Date !

Another girl’s heart would get broken. Lucky for her she’s immune to his charm maybe
because they’ve always been together. Its quiet weird how they could stand each other
especially with their different stand with regards to relationship. But they guess that’s
how they click; opposites do attract right?

“Wei! Quit staring!” Gui gui shout. She can’t concentrate on the scene.

“I missed you, don’t you missed me?”

Gui gui look at him and smile.

“No!”

“Even a little?” Aaron insisted.

“Nope.”

Aaron pout.

“You’re here almost every day how could I probably miss you?”

Aaron acted a bit hurt. Gui gui throw him a pillow.

“Your drama won’t work on me.”

Aaron move closer to her, place his head in her shoulder and lets out his sweetest smile.

“That’s why I like you. You’re different.” He said.

Gui gui didn’t put it to heart. She just knows him too well he has a sweet tongue.

“Yeah, yeah… why don’t you make you’re self useful? Go fetch us some snacks.” Gui gui ordered with a smile.

Aaron smiled back at her and made his way to the kitchen.

Gui gui entered the room wearing a black and lacy cocktail dress. She let her hair loose
and applies a little make up. She walks towards the direction where she saw them. The
girl is facing her direction while all she could see is Aaron’s back. She lets out a sweet smile.

“Good evening Bao bei” she greet as she place her arms around Aaron.

“Fancy seeing you here. I can see you’re with someone” Gui gui look at the girl; she
seems shock and hurt. God knows how Gui gui is cursing herself right now.

“Who is she?” Xiao wen asks.

Aaron smile apologetically.

“Xiao wen, I’m sorry… she’s Gui gui my girl friend.”

Xiao wen stared at Aaron furiously and slaps him.

“I hate you” she then leave with out even looking at Gui gui.

Aaron held his right cheek. Gui gui moves away from him.

“You’re a devil incarnated Aaron Yan.”

Aaron smirks.

“I also feel sorry for her”

“Well it’s not obvious!”

“Have I told you that you look beautiful tonight?”

“Aaron”

“Yes”

“How many times do I have to tell you that won’t work for me?”

Aaron just smile. He is use to her reaction.

“But I love to praise you.” He said in a cute voice. The jerk was really cute. He held up
his breath after she kicked him under the table. Gui gui laugh after seeing him in pain. He
stared at her in amazement and laugh.

“I really don’t know what I should do with you” Gui gui complained with a smile.
